I am a wife, mother, foster mom, missionary, creator, entrepreneur, boss, friend, fashion lover, list maker, and writer. I love bacon, all things chocolate, and dreaming and empowering others to realize their power and purpose.

I am a simple Michigan girl living on the Caribbean island of Haiti. I have been chasing after my Creator since 1997 when I decided to follow Jesus as my Lord and Savior. As a young child, He set apart my life’s calling to care for orphans and widows. In 2009 I moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti and founded Haiti Foundation Against Poverty and Gift of Hope Haiti. What started as a child sponsorship program to help give children in extreme poverty the opportunity to go to school has developed into a boutique giving Haitians dignified work, a safe compound where care and help is attainable, a crèche for abandoned/orphaned infants and young children to find forever families, a school, and a beautiful family of 7.

The rawness of doing life in a third world country has allowed me to gain first hand perspective into the true impact we, as “first worlders”, have on our brothers and sisters around the globe. Every single day, choices we make affect the vulnerable. I passionately believe that we can all live purposeful and powerful lives each and every day. If we do, we will see our world change before our eyes. Follow along to learn and join a journey of powerful purpose!
